The Long Island Chapter is where HCP started as a state association in 1974. Highlights of the Chapter's year include a Caregiver of the Year celebration in November and Legislative Breakfast in September as well as participating in statewide Advocacy Day in the spring in Albany.

Meetings

The Long Island Chapter is a very active chapter and generally meets the first Wednesday of every month, except July. In September the Chapter holds a Legislative Breakfast on the third week of September in place of a monthly meeting, and in November the Caregiver of the Year Luncheon is held.

The Long island Chapter welcomes any interested HCP provider or associate members to join the Chapter. Interested HCP members can join by downloading an application: provider or associate.
