Briefing on Implementing the NYS Electronic CON Applicaton Process

Join HCP, the New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (NYAHSA) and the New York State Health Facilities Association (NYSHFA) to discuss the Department of Health’s new Electronic Certificate of Need (NYSECON) system. Charles Abel, Assistant Director, Division of Health Facility Planning will deliver a presentation on NYSECON and will be available to answer questions.
Prior to attending this event, members are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with NYSECON by completing the Self-Paced Learning Modules posted on the Health Commerce System (HCS). To find the modules, Select the “Topics” tab. In the “Select Group” drop down select Long Term Care. Select the “Training” folder. Under the Select Group section select the NYSECON link.
