SCOTT JANKE JOINS THE NYS ASSOCIATION OF HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS AS ASSOCIATE FOR PUBLIC POLICY
ALBANY, NY – Scott Janke has joined the New York State Association of Health Care Providers (HCP) as Associate for Public Policy. Janke will support HCP’s State regulatory advocacy, Federal legislative and regulatory initiatives, emergency preparedness efforts and other related policy initiatives on behalf of New York State’s home care industry.
Prior to joining HCP, Janke was a Legislative Analyst for the New York State Assembly Office of Research and Program Development, where he provided analysis of legislation and budget proposals in Insurance, Banks, Energy and Corporations, Authorities & Commissions. In that role, he developed and drafted new proposals for legislators and supervisors, conducted research projects, and prepared memorandum to assist legislators with reviewing legislation and answering constituent inquiries.
Janke holds a Bachelor of Arts in U.S. History and is currently enrolled in the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, University at Albany in the Master of Public Administration program.
HCP is a Statewide trade association representing the full spectrum of home and community-based providers. Through a strong network of regional chapters and an active State office in Albany, HCP is a primary authority of the health care industry.
