DOH IHANS COVID Contact Info Request
Is your agency experiencing a shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)?
If so, contact your local Office of Emergency Management (OEM).
For those with N95 fit-tested employees (with access to N95 respirators), OSHA has temporarily removed the requirement for annual fit testing. Initial fit testing is still required. Citations will not be issued as long as the other OSHA-required components of a respiratory protection plan are met (i.e., medical evaluation, initial fit testing, etc.). Read more about this and view the full list of continued OSHA requirements.
Due to the COVID crisis, providers have experienced difficulty with the ability of processing CHRCs due to a lack of fingerprinting sites. HCP sought guidance to deal with this issue and DOH responded by providing a list of fingerprinting sites that are still accessible to enable the processing of CHRCs.
