DOH Releases Measles Webinar as Cases Rise in New York

With 44 measles cases reported in New York in 2026 — including 30 since mid-summer — the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) is urging health care providers to remain alert and prepared.

DOH has released a 17-minute on-demand webinar covering the current measles situation in New York and nationwide, clinical presentation, vaccination, laboratory testing, post-exposure prophylaxis, and infection control.

Home care providers are encouraged to share the webinar with appropriate clinical and infection-control staff to help ensure they can recognize potential cases, respond appropriately to exposures, and help prevent further transmission.
