The NYS Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) is an independent entity within the Department of Health (DOH/the Department) and is charged with promoting and protecting the integrity of our state’s Medicaid

program. The agency’s activities primarily detect and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse in this taxpayer-funded safety net program.

OMIG audits are conducted for all sectors that bill Medicaid, with each provider type having its own audit protocol. Some home care protocols have been recently updated, with other revisions planned for 2025-26.

This FREE 30-minute webinar will explain how the audit protocols are updated, along with highlighting some key compliance areas that might lead to significant financial recoupments for Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSA).

Questions will be addressed live as time permits, and attendees can email questions after the session.

HCP’s Compliance Quick Take sessions are not recorded, so do plan to join us on December 3, 2025, from 12:30-1:00pm.

Presenter: Carole Deyoe, RPh, Director of Regulatory Affairs and Special Programs, HCP

This webinar is free, however, registration is required.
