HCP is bringing the voices of home care providers directly to lawmakers, and we need you there.
This complimentary event is exclusively for HCP members in good standing. Advance registration is required, and participants must commit to attending the full day in person.
New York’s home care system is at a crossroads. Inadequate reimbursement, unfunded wage mandates, and mounting administrative burdens are threatening the stability of agencies across the state. Legislators need to hear directly from you about how the state budget impacts your agency, your workforce, your patients, and the future of home and community-based care.
Your voice carries weight.

And your presence in Albany makes a difference.
What to Expect
We’ll begin the day together with a light breakfast and strategic briefing to prepare you for your meetings. HCP will provide talking points, materials, and guidance so you feel confident and aligned before heading into legislative visits.
We will have a reserved space for the duration of the day so you’ll have a place to recharge between meetings, connect with fellow providers, and grab a complimentary boxed lunch (Kosher must be pre-ordered).
Then, alongside your colleagues, you’ll meet directly with legislators and their staff to advocate for policies that protect and strengthen home care.
This is not just a networking event.
It is a strategic advocacy effort to protect your agency and the patients you serve.
Agenda
8:00 am: Breakfast
9:00 – 10:00 am: Legislative Briefing
10:30 am – 3:00 pm: Meetings with Legislators
12:00 – 1:00 pm: Complimentary Box Lunch Available

Group Rate cut-off for reservations is Friday, February 20, 2026.
If you are staying at the Albany Hilton overnight:
1. You may store your bags with the front desk while attending Advocacy Day
2. You may leave your car for the day while attending Advocacy Day ($10 per day self park)
3. Tuesday morning you may ask front desk for a shuttle to Empire Plaza, they will confirm if available
4. Tuesday morning you may also ask front desk if a shuttle to the Train Station is available, if not you may easily order an Uber from the hotel
5. The Empire Plaza Concourse is only a 3 block walk from hotel
